Scholarships That Supported My Undergraduate Journey

Looking back on my undergraduate journey, one thing I am deeply grateful for is the support I received along the way.

University comes with many challenges, and financial support can make a significant difference in how much a student can focus on learning, building, exploring opportunities, and making the most of their time in school.

Over the years, I have been fortunate to benefit from several scholarships, bursaries, and academic support programmes:

  • West African Gas Pipeline Company (WAPCo) Scholarship: 2023, 2024, 2025
  • Senator Solomon Adeola (Yayi) Scholarship/Bursary Award: 2025, 2026
  • Digital Jewels Scholarship Scheme: 2023, 2024
  • Undergraduate Learning Support Programme (ULSP) from FCMF: 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025
  • Erasmus+ KA171 Exchange Programme: 2024

I am particularly grateful to have benefited from some of these programmes repeatedly over several years.

Beyond the financial support, there is something meaningful about knowing that an organization, program, or individual is willing to invest in your education and future.

These opportunities have contributed in different ways to my undergraduate journey and have given me the freedom to learn, build, explore, and pursue opportunities that have shaped who I am today.

I do not take any of it for granted.

One thing I hope to do as soon as I can is pay it forward.

I hope to support students in the same way others have supported me, whether through scholarships, learning opportunities, mentorship, access to technology, or simply helping someone pursue an opportunity they might otherwise have had to let go.

For now, I am grateful to every organization, program, and individual whose support has shaped my undergraduate journey.

Hopefully, in the years ahead, I will be able to extend that same support to others.
